Job Title: Building Automation Controls Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Automation Controls Specialist to join our team at BestLogic Staffing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining building automation systems.

About the Role:
  • This position involves working independently as well as collaboratively with project teams to meet project deadlines.
  • You will be responsible for system programming, troubleshooting, commissioning, and ensuring high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. System Engineering & Programming:
  • Design and engineer new Direct Digital Control (DDC) projects.
  • Program, monitor, and install building automation systems, including HVAC and integrated systems.
  • Update and maintain the graphical web interface for system monitoring and diagnostics.
Troubleshooting & Commissioning:
  • Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC and computer/controller systems.
  • Perform system testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality and integration.
Documentation & Compliance:
  • Compile and maintain as-built drawings, closeout documentation, and system records.
  • Ensure systems comply with design specifications and regulatory standards.
Position Qualifications:
  • Required Skills & Experience:
    • Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills to differentiate between HVAC and computer/controller issues.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and customer-focused.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently meet deadlines.
    • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Education & Certifications:
    • A 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology or Electrical Engineering Technology is a plus.
    • Tridium AX certification highly preferred.
Benefits & Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. The estimated annual salary for this role is around $90,000, based on industry standards and location.
