The VAS Consolidation Strategic Finance team is seeking a Financial Analyst to play a key role in providing financial planning, month-end reporting, and financial advisory support for key decisions.

Position Summary:

As a Financial Analyst, you will serve as a strategic finance partner to the worldwide leader of Visa's VAS business, the global VAS Operations leader, and the various VAS finance teams that support our five business areas. This role requires interpersonal skills to cultivate partnerships across functions, regions, and teams, to drive thought leadership, and successfully enact all planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports the coordination, organization, and execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses, including traditional budgeting and forecasting, month-end close, enhanced financial/business reporting, business case development, pricing analysis, P&L generation, and business planning support.
  • Supports business case development for key initiatives, ad hoc requests, and special projects.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders (i.e., executives and staff) in the business and serves as a key point of contact for finance issues.
  • Acquires and maintains a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities, and issues of the business.
  • Applies overall analytical skills and experience to become a highly valued business partner.
  • Identifies and implements changes that improve efficiency and effectiveness of operational decision making.
  • Learn and understand Visa's financial reporting systems: run data queries, build financial architecture, and support finance technology initiatives.
  • Builds near and long-term views for growth that align with business strategy and data.
