Job Title: Nurse Leader

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Leader to join our team at Verovian. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring smooth operations and promoting a positive work environment.

Job Summary:

The Nurse Leader will be responsible for managing staffing and scheduling, participating in hiring and evaluating nurses, coordinating training and education for nursing staff, and maintaining quality patient care by collaborating with healthcare professionals and monitoring compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure smooth operations and promote a positive work environment.
  • Manage staffing and scheduling, and participate in hiring and evaluating nurses.
  • Coordinate training and education for nursing staff to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain quality patient care by collaborating with healthcare professionals and monitoring compliance.
  • Coordinate the nursing team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Coordinate and manage resources, and collaborate with other departments to meet patient care needs.
  • Facilitate teamwork, collaboration, and coordination to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Capable of serving as a role model and advocate for the nursing profession.
  • Plans and achieves objectives based on experience and judgment.
Requirements:
  • An up-to-date resume.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • A minimum of 3-7 years of experience is required.
  • An active, valid registered nurse license within the jurisdictional region is required.
  • A valid NRP, ACLS & BLS Certification is Required.
  • Other certifications, such as PALS, are preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is a mandatory requirement.
  • Must have work authorization.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Availability to work on alternate holidays and weekends is a requirement.
  • Effective communication skills, an adaptable personality, a strong disposition, and reliability are required.
