As a Financial Services Representative, you will deliver exceptional service by executing standard banking transactions while fostering strong customer relationships and a comprehensive understanding of their financial needs.

Team members in this role will operate within a universal banking framework to assist clients with a wide range of requirements.

Support the banking center's transactional demands and other business lines, while uncovering opportunities to enhance customer relationships.
Open and manage moderate to complex consumer and basic small business deposit accounts, offering appropriate solutions for businesses to manage their cash flow effectively.
Enjoy collaborating in a team-oriented environment with frequent interactions with colleagues and clients.
Engage in the limited origination of straightforward consumer lending products such as personal loans and credit cards.
Educate customers on various banking channels, including online and mobile banking, interactive (Video) tellers, and full-service ATMs that provide convenience and value.
Achieve or surpass individual sales and referral objectives, as measured by a personal sales and referral scorecard.
Handle cash transactions accurately and adhere to proper balancing protocols.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, fees, policies, and current offers to assist customers with appropriate product recommendations.
Explore customers' financial needs and suggest additional bank services, referring them within the branch or to other departments as necessary.
Ensure compliance with all applicable banking regulations and stay informed about regulatory changes, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, and Bank Security.
Community Engagement
Create a positive impact in the communities served by participating in Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) activities and financial literacy programs.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; college coursework preferred.
Prior banking or demonstrated sales experience in business, retail, or other sectors.
1-year cash handling experience in a banking or retail setting preferred (2+ years for level II).
Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with consumers and small businesses in a structured, goal-oriented environment preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to resolve issues and cultivate client relationships even in challenging situations.
This position does not require S.A.F.E. registration at the time of employment.
Regular and reliable attendance is essential.
Ability to work collaboratively with others.
