Job Title: Training Manager, Operations

CyrusOne is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Manager, Operations to lead the development and delivery of operational training and enablement strategies at scale.

About the Role

As a Training Manager, Operations, you will be responsible for defining and driving the operational training and enablement strategy, creating solutions that team members want to adopt, share, and improve. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand the learner's experience, own the delivery mechanism, and contribute to the design and build of the global training roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enable transparency and decision-making across CyrusOne leadership by providing communication and clear status of the initiatives you own
  • Bring your expertise, problem-solving skills, and creativity to add value to our team
  • Unify distributed efforts and own the plan to deliver quality outcomes for our customers
  • Work across organizations to ensure we continue marrying best-in-class customer experience as new services and features are launched with training programs that enable high-quality customer support
  • Define metrics and KPIs to measure success of strategic initiatives and programs and report on their progress
  • Manage programs to scale and improve the learner experience with our training and enablement offerings
  • Promote regional approaches where applicable
  • Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements, and navigate complex situations
  • Attend program-related meetings, coordinate with team leaders, and regularly report status to Operations System management
  • Work under tight program timelines
  • Frequently visit data centers to understand the learner's experience
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • 5+ years of prior training experience
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Proven track record for cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, or customers
  • Demonstrated understanding of training creation, practices, and procedures
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Excellent communication skills, teamwork, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
  • Prior experience standing up a training program preferred
