We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to join our team at HERO Health Staffing Corporation. As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for preparing and equipping exam rooms, organizing daily work schedules, and performing related clerical duties.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and equip exam rooms to meet the needs of requested examinations and physician requirements.
- Organize daily work schedules and perform related clerical duties as required.
- Integrate previous imaging studies, laboratory results, patient history, and medical records to optimize exams.
- Perform most appropriate examinations based on patient information through consultation with interpreting physicians and/or ordering physicians as necessary.
- Provide patient education and instruction prior to and after examinations.
- Train and educate staff and students as indicated.
- Perform x-ray examinations applying appropriate infection control and radiation safety measures.
- Evaluate patients for pregnancy prior to exams as indicated.
- Perform surgical x-ray examinations, utilizing appropriate radiation safety measures and adhering to AORN standards.
- Perform other patient care activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned consistent with caregivers' scope of practice, training, experience, and license/certification/registration.
- Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology program required.
- Demonstrated venipuncture competency.
- PACS/RIS knowledge is required.
- ImageCast/CareCast experience is preferred.
- ARRT (R) Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist is required.
- Certification/Registration/Licensure as required by the State.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at date of hire.
$25-36/hour
