Job Title: Senior Training Specialist/Instructional Designer

About the Role:

AmeriCU Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Senior Training Specialist/Instructional Designer to join our team. As a key member of our Training and Development department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs that meet the needs of our employees and members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop training programs using the ADDIE instructional design model
  • Develop and maintain eLearning coursework and oversee the administration of the AmeriCU Learning Library and Learning Management System
  • Act in a supervisory and mentor capacity for Training Specialists and new hire training
  • Provide training and support to management development training initiatives
  • Research and identify areas in which training is required and/or beneficial
  • Evaluate and modify existing or proposed program materials
  • Create, maintain, and update eLearning digital training content
  • Develop and lead leadership and management development training workshops
  • Assist with process improvement and testing change implementations
  • Mentor Training Specialist I in instructional design and ADDIE model

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience training and/or facilitating classes for adult learners
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Articulate 360/Storyline/Rise
