Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Faculty Position

Position Overview:
The Division of Neonatology at the University of Minnesota is on the lookout for a full-time board certified/eligible Neonatal-Perinatal Physician at the rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor on the Academic Track.
neonatal nutrition, neurodevelopment, infection/immunity, hematology, pulmonology/resuscitation, global neonatology, ethics, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, point-of-care ultrasound, educational and outreach program development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Appointment Details:
This role will involve responsibilities at the Level IV NICU situated in the Masonic Children's Hospital, along with three Level III NICUs located at various hospitals, and a Level II NICU at another facility. There is also potential for collaboration with additional NICUs in the region.
We foster a supportive family and team environment, dedicated to the supervision, mentorship, and instruction of advanced practice providers, medical students, residents, and fellows, along with responsibilities related to curriculum development.
Candidate Qualifications:
Applicants must be graduates of an accredited ACGME Pediatric residency and a Neonatal-Perinatal fellowship training program.
Board eligibility/certification in Neonatal - Perinatal Medicine is required.
Candidates must be licensed or able to obtain licensure from the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
Ability to secure and maintain DEA certification in Minnesota is essential.
Meeting the threshold criteria for Credentialing and Privileges is mandatory.
Applicants must also be able to obtain work authorization in the United States and maintain legal status according to the requirements of their VISA category.
Demonstrated clinical experience in newborn intensive care and research interests in the aforementioned fields are essential.
Additionally, candidates should be able to obtain medical licensure in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.
