Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to join our team at Primark. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Associates to provide an exceptional store environment and customer experience, while optimizing sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Sales Associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage an allocated section of a department, including creating inspiring displays and managing daily task allocation.
  • Support the store management team to develop a high-performing and engaged retail team.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and development of Sales Associates.
  • Manage cash lanes and Fitting Room areas as needed.
  • Help with customer feedback and complaints.
  • Manage stock file accuracy and drive improved availability in-store.
  • Manage all pricing in line with Primark Pricing Principles.

Requirements

  • Excellent people skills to serve customers, lead the team, and build credible working relationships with all store colleagues.
  • Strong service focus with experience of delivering excellent customer experience while maintaining high store standards.
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of local selling patterns.
  • Ability to guide and support a team to achieve results.
  • Nimble and adaptable, able to flex plans and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good planning and organizational skills, prioritizing and working within agreed timescales.
  • Experience supporting store management with the protection of people, property, and premises.
  • Ability to effectively manage difficult situations and have good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
