We are seeking dedicated and qualified professionals to join our team as part-time teachers and tutors at Huntington Learning Center of Plainfield. Our center has been a leader in the educational services industry since 1977, and we pride ourselves on our team of devoted tutors who are passionate about helping children succeed.

About the Role

We are looking for individuals who are caring, qualified, and committed to the success of children. As a part-time teacher or tutor, you will provide instruction to students on an individual or small group basis, helping them excel academically in mathematics and other subjects. Our center offers flexible scheduling, including after-school and weekend hours, to accommodate your needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide instruction to students in mathematics and other subjects
  • Help students prepare for the ACT/SAT exam
  • Work with students on a one-on-one or small group basis
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or subject-related fields
  • Ability to build rapport with students
  • Sufficient knowledge of core educational subjects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
