Mathematics Instructor Opportunity

Huntington Learning Center of Plainfield is seeking a qualified Mathematics Instructor to join our team. As a Mathematics Instructor, you will provide individualized instruction to students in need of math support, with a focus on ACT/SAT prep and high school mathematics. Our center is dedicated to helping students succeed, and we are looking for a passionate and experienced educator to help us achieve this goal.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one instruction to students in need of math support
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field
  • Experience teaching or tutoring mathematics, preferably in a high school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
