Job Title: Math Teacher SY

Plainfield School District is seeking a qualified Math Teacher SY to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Math Teacher SY to teach mathematics to middle school students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Use effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities to promote student learning.

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure student success.
Qualifications:
  • New Jersey Certification and Certification in the subject area required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities.
  • Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $64,243-$104,059, and the employment period is ten (10) months. The union affiliation is PEA.
