Your Role:

As the Assistant Kitchen Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to uphold the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our kitchen operations. You will oversee the preparation areas and ensure that our menu is executed flawlessly during service periods.

This position also involves actively mentoring and managing Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and other kitchen staff, fostering their growth and development.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing consistent feedback and guiding the back-of-house team in achieving their performance goals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain exceptional performance and uphold hospitality standards throughout service periods.
  • Ensure the timely and consistent execution of dishes by effectively directing the kitchen team.
  • Educate front-of-house staff on menu items and culinary techniques through tastings and presentations.
  • Foster positive relationships with dining room leaders and kitchen staff.
  • Guarantee that all recipes and food preparations align with our commitment to culinary excellence.
  • Ensure that the kitchen and surrounding areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Train new team members thoroughly to ensure they are prepared for their roles.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in culinary leadership within a casual dining environment.
  • Preferred certification in a hospitality-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
