Salary range: $130,000 - $150,000 per year

Position Overview:
We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Financial Operations Manager to enhance our finance team. This pivotal role will involve overseeing the financial management of our organization, ensuring precise financial reporting, adherence to regulatory audits, and the efficiency of month-end closing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Financial Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Supervising all facets of financial management, which encompasses corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget preparation, and the formulation of internal control policies.


  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax submissions, facilitating smooth state audits.
  • Coordinate the development of budgets, financial forecasts, and analyze variances.
  • Oversee the performance tracking of invested assets in line with company policies.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
  • Manage the annual budgeting and planning process, reviewing all financial plans against actual results to identify and rectify variances.
  • Consolidate all financial data necessary for accurate business results accounting.
  • Oversee construction in process (CIP) and work in process (WIP) accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations, completing filings in a timely manner.
  • Develop and manage financial systems and policies, evaluating the organization's fundraising strategies and capital structure.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are highly preferred.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance position, ideally with a blend of external audit and in-house financial management experience within a high-growth organization.

3. Proven expertise in managing construction in process (CIP) and work in process (WIP) accounts.
4. Strong knowledge of financial auditing, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end closing process.
5. Experience with state audits and ensuring compliance with various financial regulations.
6. Excellent data analysis and forecasting skills.
7. Proficiency in MS Office and financial management software.
8. Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
9. Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
10. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
