Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable, process expense reports, and ensure compliance with local tax filing requirements.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and review credit card reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Administer payroll and manage associated 401K contributions for the organization.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, mentor junior staff, provide expert guidance, and engage in both formal and informal meetings as necessary.
  • Oversee client audits, ensure necessary corrections are made, and maintain accounts receivable and billing processes.
  • Generate a monthly financial reporting package comparing actuals to budget, including variance analysis for both capital and operational expenses.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting is mandatory.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience, particularly in month-end closing processes.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of insurance products, rating and underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Experience in auditing is advantageous.
Compensation: $90,000 - $140,000.00 annually.
