Key Responsibilities:

The Financial Operations Manager will:

  • Supervise the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring the integrity of the general ledger through thorough reviews of journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
  • Consolidate financial statements for multiple currencies and subsidiaries.
  • Manage daily operations of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll (both domestic and international), and cash management.
  • Monitor and evaluate new regulations and standards related to financial reporting.
  • Lead annual financial audits and quarterly reviews, fostering relationships with auditors and collaborating internally to support compliance and operational initiatives.
  • Provide strategic direction for enhancing the financial infrastructure and leading the accounting team across various locations.
  • Oversee the preparation of annual corporate income and franchise tax returns, payroll taxes, and other global business tax filings.
  • Ensure compliance with various business taxes, including Sales/Use Tax, Property Tax, and others.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external financial institutions and service providers, ensuring effective oversight of banking and accounts.
  • Manage treasury functions associated with the company’s financial accounts and credit facilities.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in financial management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Internal Control standards.
  • Proficient in advanced MS Excel functionalities.
  • Experience in implementing software solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite financial software.
  • Proven ability to manage remote teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on prioritization.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience within the SaaS industry.
