Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: Manage the full cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and evaluating candidates for exempt and non-exempt roles.
  • Employee Relations: Collaborate with management to understand organizational needs and develop effective solutions to drive business results.
  • HR Operations: Administer personnel files, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and health savings account.
  • Performance Management: Design and present performance improvement plans, and evaluate compensation structure to ensure fairness and competitiveness.
  • Training and Development: Support training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Communication: Communicate HR-related initiatives and matters to employees, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Certifications: PHR or SHRM-CP certification(s) preferred.
  • Experience: Three or more years of HR generalist and full-cycle recruiting experience, with a background in construction and/or skilled trades preferred.
  • Skills: Strong working knowledge of various recruiting methods and best practices, proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and experience with Google G Suite preferred.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to handle sensitive information in a professional manner.
