Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Youth Services Supervisor to join our team at Axis 180. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting our Independent Living Skills Educators (ILSEs) in their work with young people experiencing homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Develop and implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage of the facility.
    • Provide orientation and training for new ILSE staff.
    • Ensure ongoing communication between ILSEs and other team members.
    • Monitor ILSE completion of required trainings.
    • Collaborate with the Axis 180 Director to interview staff for open positions.
  • Participant Services
    • Assist with the implementation of goals and transition plans for clients.
    • Provide consultation and direction for ILSEs regarding client services.
    • Communicate and interact with referral sources of clients.
    • Ensure critical data is reported and documented.
    • Plan and support transportation of clients as necessary.
    • Attend program meetings and training sessions.
    • Ensure supplies and groceries are adequately stocked in the units.
    • Co-facilitate and/or attend client groups as appropriate.
  • Crisis Intervention
    • Provide crisis intervention and communicate issues as necessary.
    • Ensure communication with referral sources regarding pertinent information for participants.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as alcohol and drug studies, counseling, or social work.
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience, with one year in a residential setting.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to treat and respectfully manage a youth population with diverse needs.
