Cloud Computing Professional: Operational Excellence and Technical Expertise

As a Cloud Computing Professional at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our AWS infrastructure.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. As a member of our Utility Computing organization, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and technical innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Execute a defined set of operational tasks on a schedule, identifying any ineffective processes or technical implementations that may be hindering performance, availability, or maintainability.
- Learn how to understand operational risks and avoid taking unnecessary risks, working with more senior engineers to identify operational concerns and gain familiarity with resolving, mitigating, or escalating them in a timely manner.
We are looking for individuals who possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, and a proven ability to learn new skills and troubleshoot complex technical systems. Experience managing and driving operational improvement projects to successful completion is highly desirable.

Salary and BenefitsThe base pay for this position ranges from $65,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $139,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
