Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Engineer to oversee the implementation and enhancement of our enterprise-level contact center solutions. The Unified Communications (UC) framework encompasses a variety of Cisco components, including but not limited to Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity Connections, Cisco Unified Presence Server (CUPS), Cisco Emergency Responder (CER), Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE), Cisco Intelligent Contact Management (ICM), CVP, and IP IVR, along with other third-party software and integrated peripheral systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct installations and upgrades for enterprise-level contact center environments.
- Manage hardware administration, testing, and network validation.
- Perform remote administration and systems monitoring.
- Integrate UC solutions with other enterprise applications.
Essential Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, particularly in technical documentation and client interactions.
- Proficient in troubleshooting installation-related issues.
- Experience with core server administration on both Windows and Linux platforms.
- Advanced networking knowledge, particularly with multiple Ethernet cards on a single server.
- Hands-on experience with complex software applications, including Exchange, CRM/Helpdesk solutions, and MSSQL/Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with server hardware configurations, including RAID setups and SAN connectivity.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare or HyperV.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a service, support, or technical delivery role for Cisco ICM, UCCE, IPT, UCCX, and related solutions.
- Knowledge of telecommunications maintenance and administration on major PBX/ACD/IP Telephony platforms.
- Exposure to contact center operations, workforce management, and customer relationship management.
- Familiarity with CTI integration and call center reporting solutions.
Certifications:
Preferred certifications include:
- Microsoft Certified Solution Engineer (MCSE) or similar.
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or equivalent.
- VMWare Certified Professional or higher.
- EMC Cloud or Data Center Architect certifications.
Experience Level:
Intermediate level of expertise is required.
