  2. Interface with internal departments to ensure schedule, cost, and quality goals are met.
  3. Develop Mathcad models, simulation tools, and other predictive methods to reduce changes on subsequent iterations of each design.
  4. Participate as an active part of the core team to meet schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.
  5. Assist in the development, testing, and de-bugging of prototype power supply units.
  6. Analyze test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.
Work Environment

The Electronic Engineer will work in a fast-paced power development lab and standard office environment.

Occasional travel may be required domestically and internationally.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based platforms and with computer-based design and analysis tools.
  • Working knowledge of Database, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience
  • Essential: 0-3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • Desirable: Experience with Mathcad, Altium or Cadence, Spice-based simulation, and/or View Logic.
Education

Bachelor's (BSEE) degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting.

Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors, including skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
