Position Overview
As a key member of our engineering team, you will evaluate electrical and control engineering specifications to devise effective technical and business solutions for projects requiring capital investment.

Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve collaboration with various stakeholders, including Corporate Engineering, Operations, Finance, EHS, and RQI. You will also engage with external partners such as equipment suppliers, construction firms, and engineering service providers.

Your responsibilities will encompass the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, including:
- Supervision of construction and adherence to safety protocols.
- Development of comprehensive project submittal packages to ensure clarity and project success.
- Assessment of technology and provision of recommendations aligned with industry standards.
- Evaluation of physical location and general arrangement placements at the drawing level.
- Infrastructure requirements analysis.

You will report directly to the Plant Engineering Manager and collaborate with the Project Manager to establish preliminary Capital and Expense Estimates. Additionally, you will work closely with the Engineering Project Manager to create a design schedule that aligns with overall project timelines.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Robotics Engineering, with a focus on controls for processing, packaging, and filling equipment design.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of practical experience in food manufacturing and food control system design, with a strong emphasis on Controls Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical schematics, along with a solid understanding of manufacturing systems and equipment.

Physical Requirements
This position requires effective communication skills, frequent standing and walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Candidates should be prepared to work in a dynamic environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
