Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Utilize expertise to design, build, install, modify, and test application software to support and optimize operational work processes.
- Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Provide problem-solving, troubleshooting, and code debugging of simple and intermediate issues at the technical, interface, and application levels.
- User Support and Training: Interact with users to assure system is operating and performing according to specifications, and collaborate with other Applications Analysts, IT, and department staff to provide technical and clinical support.
- Process Improvement: Recommend best practice workflows and develop business plans for automating and optimizing processes that transform and improve clinical care and patient safety.
- Project Management: Execute assigned tasks in the project plan for the installation of hardware, software, networks, physical site, training environments, and test environments for the initial and subsequent implementations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Engineering, or a Science degree with an orientation toward automation and process improvement.
- Experience: Two years of experience as an Epic Certified analyst, with a minimum of two years of clinical, ancillary, revenue cycle operations experience in a related field or information technology experience.
- Skills: Technical aptitude for information services technology, effective interpersonal written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
