Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our Newbury Park Equipment Engineering Team, supporting the Fab and Final Process areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics technology and experience with common hand tools and electronic instruments.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on semiconductor manufacturing equipment, following work instructions and manufacturer manuals.
- Set up, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Rebuild and repair manufacturing equipment as required.
- Perform equipment modifications as directed by Equipment Engineering.
- Work on complex assignments requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations to the Engineering community.
- Associate Degree in Electronics Technology (or similar discipline), or a HS diploma with equivalent years of experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a production and/or faced pace environment.
- Experience with common hand tools as well as various electronic instruments.
- Job duties may require heavy lifting (install/removal of pumps).
- Must pass respiratory protection medical surveillance examination.
- Must have in-depth knowledge, understanding, and support of manufacturing process.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work the overnight and compressed shift.
Skyworks Solutions offers a competitive salary range of USD$29.33 - $50.96 per hour, depending on relevant experience and skills. We also provide access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, and other benefits. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock.
