Job Summary

Skyworks is an innovator of high-performance analog semiconductors whose solutions are powering the wireless networking revolution. We are seeking a skilled RF Engineering Technician to support the engineering development of RF modules by testing, troubleshooting, and tuning the modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assembling PCBs including solder down surface mount components
  • Operating automated test equipment
  • Running automated calibration routines
  • Performing basic manual RF tests
  • Performing RF test setups
  • Building test fixtures and test jigs
  • Building harnesses for test fixtures
  • Generating Bill of Materials (BOMs) for RF modules under supervision of design engineers

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent years of experience, with four years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge and hands on experience with bench test equipment: multi-meter, oscilloscope, signal generators, power meter, power supplies, spectrum analyzers etc.
  • Ability to understand schematics and diagrams
  • Experience with MS-Office, Windows OS
  • Ability to interpret data with a basic understanding of voltage, current, power
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must have a team-oriented mindset, accountability, and ownership
