Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to secure sponsorships for AEG events and organizations
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential and current sponsors
  • Conduct market research and gather data to pitch to sponsors
  • Negotiate sponsorship packages and contracts with potential sponsors
  • Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams to create customized sponsorship packages and promotional materials
  • Attend networking events and speaking engagements to promote sponsorships
  • Manage and track sponsorships throughout the season or event
  • Provide exceptional customer service to sponsors and ensure their needs are met
  • Analyze and evaluate sponsorship successes and areas of improvement
  • Identify new sponsorship opportunities and prospects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Two to three years of sales experience
  • Experience working with athletic promotions and sports marketing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent supervisory and team management skills
  • Knowledge of event marketing, promotions, and advertising
  • Ability to operate independently, take initiative, and follow-through with assignments
  • Ability to motivate and communicate effectively with staff
  • Skills in resolving problems with clients and with staff
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and achieve objectives
