We are currently seeking a motivated Educational Solutions Representative to join our team within the higher education sector. This role is crucial for driving revenue growth in our North Texas territory through the promotion of our comprehensive software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in regular travel to various college campuses to present and sell the Hawkes courseware portfolio, which includes a diverse array of software, textbooks, and workbooks.
- Identify potential adoption targets and formulate a strategic sales plan to facilitate the adoption process.
- Conduct thorough research on your designated territory to pinpoint key accounts, develop new leads, and nurture these leads throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with Customer Success Specialists to explore and strategize expansion opportunities.
- Assist in organizing and hosting both virtual and in-person events, including conferences, webinars, and presentations.
- Work strategically with complex committee adoptions by performing needs analyses on key decision-makers.
- Maintain an organized contact database and manage your sales pipeline effectively.
- Partner with the marketing team to implement follow-up strategies for various campaigns and lead-generating initiatives.
Candidate Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of proven experience in field sales, ideally within the educational technology sector, with a focus on mathematics.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including 3-4 days per week on campus and occasional overnight travel during peak seasons.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to diverse personalities and situations effectively.
- Familiarity with forecasting and pipeline management.
