Job Description:
Allied Universal is seeking a Solutions Architect III.

The Solutions Architect plays a crucial role in achieving sales objectives by providing direct pre-sales support and delivering high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective technical solutions that align with our customers' needs in a professional manner.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop technical solutions that align customer business requirements with security technology offerings.

2. Create technical scopes of work (SOW) and detailed design narratives for technical solutions along with associated cost estimates.

3. Oversee the estimation process, collaborating with various sales, management, and customer representatives.

4. Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and technical/functional design specifications to prepare compliant solutions.

5. Investigate emerging technologies to support security integration solutions.

6. Collaborate with product and distribution partners to obtain pricing for systems, devices, and equipment during the estimating process.

7. Assist the Sales Team by engaging in technical discussions and meetings with customers and/or product partners.

8. Support the Sales Team in customer-facing ROI (Return on Investment) discussions and technical presentations.

9. Understand construction divisions related to Electronics - Safety and Security for RFP responses.

10. Ensure quality assurance by adhering to organizational and departmental standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Industry technology certifications such as PSP, CCNA, or product-specific certifications in Access Control and IP Video platforms.

3. Licensing requirements may be subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Must possess one or more of the following:
1. A minimum of seven (7) years of experience with integrated electronic security solutions.

2. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a pre-sales support/engineering role.

3. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; capable of managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.

4. Excellent oral and written communication skills; capable of engaging with stakeholders via email, phone, and in person.

5. Ability to maintain proprietary information with a high level of discretion.

6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Word).

7. Willingness to travel as needed.

8. Skilled in using PDF editing software and creation tools such as Bluebeam for device plotting and team collaborations.

PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Project Management certification.

2. Working knowledge of network infrastructure including switches, routers, IP configuration, CCNA or equivalent certification.

3. College degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
