About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Event Technician to join our team at Five-Star AudioVisual, Inc. As an Event Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our events by providing exceptional audiovisual support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audiovisual Set-up and Strike: Assist with the set-up, operation, and strike of all audiovisual equipment for client functions.
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Significantly contribute to the effective management of the day-to-day operations according to company procedures.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and cultivate positive public relations with Hotel accounts.
  • Team Player: Maintain positive employee relations, strong team-player orientation, and communication standards.
  • Technical Skills: Continually increase audiovisual skills and knowledge, and effectively utilize the company's business software.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of one year's experience in the AV industry.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Advances knowledge and experience with AV set-ups and strikes, background customer service or hospitality experience required, certification in AV technology or related courses (preferred).
  • Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to work long hours on your feet, consistently lift up to 75 pounds, and work a varied schedule.
  • Authorization: The applicant must be authorized to work in the United States and have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record to operate a Company vehicle.
