Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Technician to join our team at Five-Star AudioVisual, Inc. As an Event Technician, you will be responsible for the set-up, operation, and strike of all audiovisual equipment for client functions. You will also provide exceptional customer service, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the day-to-day functions of the audiovisual office, adhering to established company policies and procedures.
  • Set up, operate, and strike all audiovisual equipment for client functions, ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to client needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Continuously increase audiovisual skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
  • Maintain positive public relations with hotel accounts, ensuring strong partnerships and client retention.
  • Maintain positive employee relations, fostering a strong team-player orientation and communication standards.
  • Effectively utilize company business software, ensuring accurate and timely data entry and reporting.
  • Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year's experience in the AV industry.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with AV set-ups and strikes.
  • Background in customer service or hospitality experience required.
  • Certification in AV technology or related courses preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work long hours on your feet and lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required to operate a Company vehicle.
