Job Summary:

Global Channel Management, Inc is seeking an experienced Automotive Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technical solutions to improve product quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products and technologies.
  • Conduct laboratory and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on technical expertise and innovation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience with electronics technology, including sensors, connectors, wiring/cabling, printed circuit boards, modules, and semiconductors.
  • Application engineer experience, with a focus on analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Experience with Automotive Quality systems and requirements.
  • Strong business acumen and partnership skills, with the ability to influence and contribute to strategic planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry expertise and involvement in trade associations.
  • Experience with dispense equipment suppliers and account management.
  • Lean/Six Sigma/Scientific Application Methods/Development technical writing/reporting skills.
