OBJECTIVE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this pivotal role, you will engage at the Executive level to secure top-tier leadership talent for SAP, enhancing our reputation as a premier destination for exceptional executives.

We pride ourselves on delivering a personalized service to all participants in the recruitment journey, acting as trusted advisors to hiring managers throughout the specialized recruiting process. As a guardian of SAP's hiring standards, you will ensure that selections align with organizational requirements.

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee the recruitment service delivery for designated Hiring Managers, guaranteeing compliance with both global and local policies while collaborating closely with HR colleagues.

Your responsibilities will encompass managing the recruitment project from the initial Hiring Approval stage, leading consultations with managers, formulating recruitment strategies, and executing them through sourcing, candidate shortlisting, interviewing, offer management, and final acceptance.

You will proactively source external candidates for pipeline initiatives to meet future hiring needs, and collaborate with executive search firms as necessary to attract the finest talent.

Engagement with shortlisted candidates will be crucial, as you represent the SAP employer brand and the associated opportunities.


KEY EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Comprehend SAP's business model, organizational structure, strategy, and operational drivers.
  • Gain insights into the Strategy, Organization, and Operations of your assigned client groups.
  • Consult with business leaders to accurately identify their recruitment needs.
  • Demonstrate expertise and effectiveness in the recruitment process.
  • Advise on optimal recruitment strategies for each position.
  • Activate and oversee the recruitment action plan.
  • Manage the recruitment process while adhering to local requirements and procedures.
  • Identify, attract, screen, and select candidates efficiently.
  • Guide managers through candidate assessment and decision-making processes.
  • Oversee the offer process in collaboration with HR.
  • Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders regarding recruitment status.
  • Ensure candidates are engaged and motivated by SAP's opportunities and values.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine recruitment strategies for improved efficiency.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development in recruiting and consulting practices.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Degree Level Education.
  • Proficiency in Business English; fluency in German is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to establish credibility and influence at the Executive level.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 10 years of experience in Executive Recruiting within a corporate setting is required. A proven history of identifying, attracting, and selecting external passive talent is essential. Experience in partnering with Executive-level stakeholders is crucial, along with a deep understanding of SAP's business, strategy, and leadership frameworks.

Knowledge of the technology sector and its core business functions, as well as the competitive landscape for Executive Talent in your region, is vital. A strong track record of providing high-quality service to hiring managers and candidates is expected, along with experience in recruiting across various job skill sets.
