Senior CMM Programmer

COMPENSATION: $120K - $130K

PLUS COMPANY BONUS

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CMM Programmer with extensive expertise in CMM programming utilizing Open-DMIS software and SolidWorks models. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of part drawings, GD&T, and product inspection procedures related to documentation and software control.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop innovative CMM programs from SOLIDWORKS CAD models using OPEN-DMIS, implementing best practices to enhance CMM utilization in a production setting.
  2. Provide hands-on support for OPEN-DMIS CMM program development.
  3. Leverage the latest software capabilities and methodologies to support process development for new product introductions.
  4. Drive cost reduction initiatives by improving part processing times through efficient CMM methods and innovative mistake-proofing techniques.
  5. Offer tooling recommendations to optimize CMM capabilities and programming efficiency.
  6. Deliver troubleshooting expertise to maximize CMM utilization in production environments.
  7. Support continuous improvement of documented best practices and standard operating procedures for CMM programming and operations.
  8. Correlate inspection programs and resolve complex correlation challenges.
  9. Standardize and document robust, accurate, and efficient part setup methods.
  10. Train Operators on setup methods and program operation and interpretation.
  11. Ensure compliance with manufacturing software control procedures.
  12. Lead a team of CMM Programmers and Operators to fulfill the CMM needs of the organization.
  13. Possess a working knowledge of Verisurf software.
  14. Perform other related duties as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of CMM Programming experience (Required)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and independently.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
