Job Summary:
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a group home, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of residents. The Program Director - Developmental Disabilities will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized plans, providing direct care and support, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized plans for residents, incorporating their goals, needs, and preferences.
- Provide direct care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medical care, and behavioral support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nurses, therapists, and other professionals, to achieve optimal outcomes for residents.
- Oversee the daily operations of the group home, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for residents.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services, making recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work, psychology, or special education.
