About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing clinical and research diagnostic molecular imaging testing, including general, cardiac, and PET studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen patients for appropriate indications and contraindications, communicating with providers to facilitate diagnostic exam adjustments as needed.
  • Explain procedures to patients, reassuring them and securing their cooperation during testing.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients, completing testing for both in and outpatients within various hospital locations.
  • Acquire, process, and reconstruct images as appropriate, labeling patient images in accordance with ACR requirements.
  • Ensure radiation safety techniques, including use of protective shielding and handling and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Interface with computer systems related to the duties of the position, including EPIC, Optility, PET Manager, Syngo, and E.soft.
Requirements
  • Radiologic technologist (Nuclear Medicine) licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
  • ARRT or NMTCB certification.
  • CT Certification required within one year of employment.
  • BS degree in NM Technology preferred or BS in unrelated field with a certificate in NM Technology preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
