Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

HealthCare Support is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and be proficient in handling radiopharmaceuticals.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Adhere to radiation safety protocols, including understanding Facility Radioactive Materials (RAM) licensure, radiation exposure control, and personnel monitoring devices.

• Demonstrate proficiency with radiopharmaceuticals, including proper selection, ordering, handling, and preparation, storage, and disposal, and proper radioactive materials documentation.

• Maintain the cleanliness of the nuclear camera and associated equipment in accordance with infection control policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Active WA state license or pending application.
