We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Oncology Specialist to join our team at Amgen. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing clinical knowledge of our products to medical professionals and driving sales growth in the greater Washington, D.C. area.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan to achieve sales targets
- Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals and effectively communicate the clinical and economic benefits
- Utilize internal and external relationships to service and manage accounts, including ensuring product access and resolving reimbursement issues
- Craft an effective marketing strategy to drive sales growth
- Analyze business effectiveness and develop territory plans with the District Manager
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong knowledge of oncology and disease state awareness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
