Oncology Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at American Oncology Network LLC. As a key member of our oncology team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapeutic agents to patients as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate and safe treatment.
- Document patient treatment and charges in our electronic medical record system.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, including chemotherapy classes and medication management.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Experience in IV therapy and hematology/oncology patient care.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- CPR and BLS certifications.
- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
