Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Post Production Senior Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of post-production. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of post-production processes, strong time management skills, and a ruthless eye for optimization to reduce costs and increase speed to market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create processes and workflows to guide team members to success while improving time to market and driving down post-production costs.
- Directly oversee post-production processes, budgets, and workflows while collaborating with the team on branded storytelling and quality standards.
- Manage a high-volume pipeline - multiple high-priority projects moving simultaneously during various stages of post-production.
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly department workloads and budgets are handled timely, accurately, and cost-efficiently based on priority.
- Assign, schedule, and monitor all editing projects, anticipating various post-production needs, and maintaining the organization of all files.
- Support our Production and Post Production teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Create efficient solutions to workflow challenges to improve our processes.
- Hire and recruit digitally minded post talent to re-invent post production for a digital and entrepreneurial environment.
Requirements:
- A great understanding of all technical areas of post-production, including editing, color grading, VFX, composing, and sound editing.
- Deep experience managing budgets in various low-budget environments.
- Ability to problem-solve under high-pressure situations.
- Proven ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
