Key Responsibilities:

  • **Coordinate with Procurement Team:** Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to identify projected delivery dates of expected shipments and provide updates to relevant departments, ensuring seamless project coordination.
  • **Incoming Call Management:** Answer incoming calls, take notes, and transfer calls as necessary to the appropriate departments or personnel.
  • **Shipping and Receiving Operations:** Assist in the dispatching of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure proper delivery and receipt to the final location.
  • **Inventory Management:** Receive, unload, and unpack shipments of purchased products, inspecting for damage and correct quantities.
  • **Damage and Shortage Reporting:** Report damages or shortages to the appropriate person, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • **Data Entry and Record-Keeping:** Match shipments to their associated purchase orders and enter receiving data on relevant paperwork, recording receiving data in company databases.
  • **Import/Export Logistics:** Maintain import/export logs, identifying new products/materials for inventory and creating locations for proper storage and tracking.
  • **Inventory Preparation:** Prepare and organize received stock for inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and storage.

Requirements:
