Job Title: Area Sales Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Representative to join our team at Sirtex. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing clinical and technical support to healthcare professionals, managing business targets, and developing strategic relationships with key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and technical support to healthcare professionals during procedures related to our flagship product, SIR-Spheres microspheres.
  • Manage and exceed business targets within your territory, and assist Regional Sales Managers in meeting and exceeding their targets.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals and healthcare organizations to generate strategic relationships and increase sales.
  • Deliver sales presentations and perform product demonstrations to healthcare professionals.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of account plans to generate strategic relationships and increase sales.
  • Continuously educate yourself on the latest information related to disease states and the business environment.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in medical procedure coverage, preferably in Interventional Radiology (IR), Operating Room (OR), Cath Lab, or related fields.
  • Previous work experience in medical device, B2B, or hospital settings preferred.
  • Ability to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and articulate a clinical sales message.
  • Proven track record of sales success, including recognition awards and/or increased responsibility.
  • Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to build and maintain solid working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and virtual engagement skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organization, time management, and presentation skills.

What We Offer:

  • Target base salary range: $90,000 annually.
  • Variable bonus up to $30,000.
  • Benefit plans, including paid sick and vacation time, health insurance, and a generous 401k matching program.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Current valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Resides in and able to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Travel 30-50%, which may occasionally include weekends and holidays.
  • Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing for prolonged periods, possible exposure to radiation, and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
