Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in managing trust administration matters, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Prepare and file legal documents related to trusts, maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and compile relevant information for trust administration cases, providing valuable insights to the legal team.
  • Coordinate with clients, financial institutions, and other relevant parties to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Engage in electronic filing (e-filing) for both state and federal courts, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Learn and develop skills in litigation processes, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Draft correspondence, legal documents, and memos, ensuring clear and concise communication.
  • Maintain and organize legal files and documents, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
  • Manage attorney calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings, ensuring efficient use of time.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in Trust Administration is required, with a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
  • A degree or certification in Legal Studies or a related field is preferred, demonstrating a solid foundation in legal principles and practices.
  • Litigation experience is a plus, but not mandatory; the firm is willing to provide training and development opportunities.
  • Proficiency in electronic filing (e-filing) for state and federal courts, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy, ensuring precision and attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong team-oriented mindset and a willingness to support colleagues as needed.
