Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Engineer to join our team in Portland, ME. As a key member of our roadways group, you will be responsible for designing and managing highway infrastructure projects throughout Maine and New England.

Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design roadways in accordance with AASHTO and MaineDOT specifications and CADD Standards using Microstation and InRoads/OpenRoads.
  • Project Management: Develop and oversee design plans and calculations, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members, other disciplines, and offices, as well as sub-consultants.
  • Client Communication: Interact with and present project designs to clients, agencies, and the public.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in design with project management experience a plus.
  • Licensure: Maine PE or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
  • Software Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with Microstation and InRoads. OpenRoads experience is a plus.
