Job Description
Perform routine engineering assignments under the guidance of senior staff, with instruction from the Project Engineer or others regarding the expected results.

Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting analyses to develop design options or recommendations
• Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications
• Providing owner's engineering support for equipment overhauls, rebuilds, and new equipment installation
• Supporting feasibility studies or conceptual designs for new or expanded projects
• Inspecting and assessing the condition of existing facilities
• Supporting mechanical life extension and system upgrades of existing facilities
• Preparing equipment procurement and design specifications
• Performing performance testing of hydro turbine equipment
• Evaluating equipment and contractor bids
• Producing mechanical system designs including P&IDs, equipment sizing, detailed design, and system calculations

The successful candidate will be a team player who can adapt to changing client needs and fulfill a variety of roles on a project. A dynamic work environment awaits you in our South Portland Mechanical/Electrical engineering group.
