About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Transportation Engineer to lead our highway infrastructure projects in Portland, ME. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and managing complex roadway projects throughout Maine and New England.

This role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated and experienced engineer to take on new challenges and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design roadways in accordance with AASHTO and MaineDOT specifications and CADD Standards using Microstation and InRoads/OpenRoads.
  • Project Management: Develop and oversee design plans and calculations, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in design with project management experience a plus.
  • Licensure: Maine PE or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
  • Software Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with Microstation and InRoads. OpenRoads experience is a plus.
