Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales and profit objectives in the allocated geography.
- Lead a team of approximately 5-6 field-based Nuclear Account Managers (NAMs) to achieve or exceed dose and sales objectives.
- Cultivate productive relationships with customers, including HCPs, Advanced Practice Providers, Nurses, Pharmacists, Department Administrators, and other key medical and administrative personnel.
- Collaborate with stakeholder functions, including National Accounts Director, PMFs, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Science, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Excellence, and Corporate Development, to optimize the customer experience and maximize business outcomes.
- Manage the regional sales expense budget and allocate resources according to best ROI principles.
- Input into the design and execution of Sales Force Incentive Compensation Strategy.
- Attract, develop, inspire, and retain high-performing NOAMs.
- Work with relevant Functional Heads to manage growth and change, develop human capital, and create and maintain a culture of engagement and accountability.
- Provide prompt and objective feedback, coaching, and counseling to enhance or improve performance.
- 15+ years of experience in positions of escalating scope and responsibility within regulated life sciences organizations or the equivalent.
- Extensive commercial experience with a solid record of achievement in either therapeutics or diagnostics, including launch experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, and/or medical device industry and hospital systems, as well as federal, state, industry, company, and customer compliance regulations and policy.
- Experience with selling/leading in a highly matrixed environment, and/or large account management preferred.
- Clinical and/or technical discipline knowledge (e.g., radiopharmaceuticals, urology-related disease states, treatment paradigms, and future trends).
- MBA preferred.
