Position Overview:

We are in search of a committed and meticulous Permanent Quality Laboratory Technician to become a vital part of our dynamic team in the manufacturing sector. The successful applicant will be instrumental in guaranteeing that our products adhere to the highest quality standards prior to reaching our customers. This role demands a proactive individual who is willing to engage in all facets of quality assurance, quality control, HACCP, sanitation, and document management. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished products, or stability samples.
  • Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and provide recommendations regarding data appropriateness for release.
  • Perform visual inspections of finished goods.
  • Engage in internal audits, including addressing audit findings and generating audit reports.
  • Establish and oversee robust quality management systems (QMS).
  • Implement and uphold the company's HACCP plan.
  • Ensure compliance of manufacturing processes with national and international regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate and execute sanitation activities within the manufacturing process to meet quality control and local health safety standards.
  • Manage document control, including maintaining records and archives, ensuring accuracy, quality, and integrity.
  • Train team members in all aspects of quality control and safety.
  • Contribute to the development and review of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the quality control department.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field such as Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in quality assurance, quality control, HACCP, sanitation, and document management is essential.
  • Strong understanding of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and other quality systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Certification in Quality Control is advantageous.
