Estimator/Account Manager Job Description

Appliance MAX is seeking a skilled Estimator/Account Manager to join our team. This role will involve working on-site or remotely, with occasional trips to site as necessary, to support multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with other departments for estimating efforts, reports, projections, bids, estimates, quotes, and invoices.
  • Lead and estimate tasks for labor and material costs of new projects.
  • Generate quality takeoffs and pricing for all products and services.
  • Assist others on their accounts and projects.
  • Use knowledge of general construction, cabinets, and appliances to successfully estimate projects.
  • Analyze specifications, sketches, blueprints, plans, bill of materials, etc. to accurately estimate projects.
  • Coordinate schedules for installations, ordering, and invoicing.
  • Assist with negotiations if needed.
  • Prepare and maintain historical cost data and active material lists.
  • Work directly with design staff, dealers, representatives, and brands.
  • Visit job sites to receive products, supervise installation teams, perform quality control, and turnover reports.
Requirements:
  • Google/Gmail expertise.
  • 2 years of estimating experience.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Ability to plan, organize, document, perform, review, and present multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Communication skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of the project team.
  • Knowledge of cabinets and appliances.
  • Ability to travel.

  • Starting pay is $15-$20/Hour with commission.
