About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medication Safety Officer Pediatrics to join our team at Quality Talent Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in promoting the safe and effective use of medication and assisting in the development of systems that support medication-use safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership for Department of Pharmacy performance improvement and risk management initiatives.
  • Assume responsibility for promoting the safe and effective use of medication.
  • Develop and implement systems that support medication-use safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate medication-related risks.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with medication safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in Pharm. D degree or a Bachelors of Science degree with two to three years of equivalent experience.
  • Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience is desired.
  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland required.
  • Board Certification and/or Fellowship in the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FASHP) desired.
