About the Role

Nuro is seeking a seasoned Communications Manager to spearhead our internal and external communication strategies, ensuring cohesive and effective messaging across all channels. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional writing skills, media savvy, and proven expertise to play a key role in Nuro's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Media Relations: Oversee public relations activities, including external agency management, and build strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and thought leaders in the tech and mobility sectors.
  • Content Creation: Develop and edit various content, including press releases, blog posts, and social media posts, translating technical language into compelling narratives.
  • Internal Communications: Lead internal communication efforts, including company-wide meetings, internal announcements, and executive communications.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with internal teams to coordinate and prepare for external-facing engagements, ensuring consistency in messaging and professionalism.
  • Crisis Communications: Develop and execute crisis communication strategies to protect the company's reputation in challenging situations.
About You
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in communications or public relations, preferably in the tech or automotive industries, with a proven track record of managing PR campaigns, internal and external communications, and crisis communications.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead communication efforts and manage relationships with external partners and senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to anticipate challenges and develop communication plans to address them.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to various audiences.
  • Collaborative: Skilled at working cross-functionally with teams across all levels of the organization.
